The inaugural Little Apple Core Challenge is a program directed toward furthering the relationships of businesses through healthy lifestyles and friendly competition. Join Manhattan Parks and Recreation to participate in numerous activities for your staff.
The challenge consists of approximately 15 team-based competition events. Some of those include Goose Chase (Scavenger Hunt), Texas Rules Softball, Volleyball, Jenga, Texas Hold 'Em, Darts, Bowling, Corn Hole, Pickle Ball, Tug of War, Trivia and more.
Costs: $275 (minimum 12 participants, maximum 20) and $225 for each additional team within the same business.
In addition to participation in all events, all registered participants for the core challenge will be entitled to 7 days free at the Flint Hills Discovery Center from April 14 to April 20 and 7 days free at the Sunset Zoo from April 21 to April 27. (Regular admission rates apply to all other visitors and family members visiting with the registered participant.)
A designated team captain or team representative will be expected to attend the pre-event meeting at 5:30 p.m. March 22 at City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Ave. The meeting will assist with preparation, as well as your team's understanding of the events.
